Part-Time Faculty Positions in Oil & Gas Engineering

The programme in Oil & Gas Engineering at the University of Nicosia invites applications for Part-Time Faculty positions in Oil & Gas Engineering. The BSc in Oil and Gas Engineering is the first and only accredited undergraduate programme in Cyprus to receive state and professional accreditation. In addition, the University offers the MSc and PhD degrees in Oil, Gas and Energy Engineering.
Located at the new Research and Technology Building, the programme in Oil & Gas Engineering aspires to become a leading educational platform for students while forging strong ties with companies engaged in the Oil & Gas industry.
As part of our expansion plans we are currently recruiting new part-time Faculty members who can assume teaching duties, beginning Spring term 2017 (31/01/2017), for the following undergraduate courses:
- MENG-290 Heat and Mass Transfer
- OGEE-430 Hydrocarbon Recovery Techniques
- OGEE-450 Hydrocarbon Flow Assurance

The successfully candidates need hold a postgraduate qualification, preferably a PhD, in a relevant field such as Petroleum Engineering, Geology, Geophysics, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical/Marine Engineering or another relevant field. Teaching and/or research experience is also desirable. Professional experience in the O&G sector will be considered a major advantage.
